“Wandering the Planet” cobbles together more than 20 years of photos, reminiscences, letters, journal entries, philosophical/sociological/personal/political impressions, and a serious number of sheepish confessions about how selfish and ignorant I could be while I was travelling. Some of these entries run as a narrative: the first section follows an 18 month stretch on the road, and may come across as somewhat self-absorbed to people looking for adventure and 3rd person observations….
I have no idea how much sense these entries might make even in a traditional linear narrative format, and the blog style, back-to-front chronology might just push the project further into the surreal…
Nevertheless, here they are. A vitual memory bank, on display for anyone who wishes to visit.
